GPI EXCHANGE PROGRAM

Global Partners is committed to fostering international education and exchange. We are excited to provide young people with the unique and wonderful opportunity of receiving the educational and cultural benefits of living and studying in another country.
We offer programs of 3, 5 or 10 months in duration. Students live with a volunteer host family and attend high school in their host community. Global Partners works primarily with one of the largest educational agencies in Japan. Opportunities are also available with other exchange destinations.
North American high schools assist with this exchange program by accepting an international student and offering them the same opportunity to become a global ambassador.

CRITERIA:

• Above average marks
• Flexible and socially/culturally adaptable person
• 15 to 18 years of age
• Globally minded (international interest/perspective)

PROGRAM FEE INCLUDES:

• Allocation to school and host families in Canada
• Orientation before departure and upon arrival
• Support and assistance from GPI and our partner organization for student and parents before departure and while abroad

PROGRAM FEE does not include:

• All domestic transportation costs in North America
• Fees associated with obtaining Student visa in North America
• Incidental and spending money
• Texts and school uniform (if needed)
• Tutoring that may be required while in Canada
